Of the many routes to the Andean Altiplano, this is about the most spectacular. Starting in Tarija, you ride up the Cuesta de Sam\u00e1, climbing through various climates and over a panoramic summit to the dusty Altiplano village of Iscayachi. The ‘Cuesta’ isn’t paved (at least, it wasn’t when I rode it) so start early before the road gets too dusty and busy.<\/h6>\n
