At 10,582 square km and almost 4 km above sea level, The Salar De Uyuni is the world’s largest and highest salt flat. Tourists book daily jeep tours, but the best way to experience it is by bicycle. You’ll need two to four days, depending on your pace and extra-strong tent pegs for the salt. Don’t forget eye protection and lots of sunscreen and water. This is probably the strangest place you’ll ever ride a bike.<\/h6>\n
